CONSTRUCTION OF A 600 MW POWER PLANT AND 7,000 TON/DAY DESALINATION PLANT
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) was awarded the EPC contract to design and construct on a full turnkey basis the Reverse Osmosis (RO) Desalination Plant and the Power Generation Plant, and contracted CCC to carry out the civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation works for both the Desalination Plant and the Power Plant.
The power plant features major environmental equipment to limit SO² emissions by utilizing nine Electrostatic Precipitators (EP) and three high-efficiency limestone-gypsum process Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) units.
